I grew up playing sports as a kid, before turning my focus to golf prior to high school. I played golf throughout middle school and high school, then was given opportunity to play in college. Even playing sports, I never put much emphasis into my overall health and fitness. I found Crossfit in my 30s, but wish I would have discovered it sooner. After starting Crossfit, my fitness and movement is much better than it could have been without any fitness routine. I have also become more aware of the importance of nutrition and have dialed in healthier eating habits. As a coach, I try to use my experiences to help athletes as they start their health and fitness journeys.
My purpose for coaching is to encourage others to have a healthier lifestyle and to help athletes move well and safely in order to promote movement longevity as they age.
